I have never been under the water before….but I would sure like to go sometime! I’d love to see fishes and octopuses and coral reefs up close. Maybe I could go in a submarine someday! What would you like to see under the water?

Read Together at Home
Here are some books to read together! You can download and save them and keep them forever, to read again and again.
Things to Do Together
- Learn more with our partner Austin PBS: Play the Water Safari Games
- “Sand” writing: Practice writing new words from the books you read with your finger or a stick outside in sand (or dirt, whatever you have!)
- Watch this live feed of an underwater world and try to name all the fish and plants you see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvfaMv9nbJc
- Create your own fish and plants to make your own underwater diorama of ocean habitats. Here is an example: https://www.pinterest.pt/pin/561824122261193827/
Share Together
At the end of the week, reflect on what you read and did.
