BookSpring is excited to host the Big Book Giveaway next April, providing free books for 2nd–5th grade students in the Greater Austin area. If you’re an educator, librarian, reading specialist, or school administrator working with 70% or more Free or Reduced Lunch students, you can receive up to 120 books to help foster a love of reading in your students.

How It Works

• Educators will be admitted in small groups every 30 minutes.

• You’ll have the opportunity to browse and select books based on your students’ needs.

• A mix of picture books, chapter books, fiction, and non-fiction will be available. Some books will be in Spanish, though quantities may be limited.

• Our staff and volunteers will assist with selection, checkout, and loading books into your vehicle.

Bringing your own bags or boxes is highly recommended.
