Kim Nguyen is a children’s book author, executive creative director and first-generation Texan. Her debut picture book, Princess and The Pea-tition, was featured on The TODAY show as a Read with Jenna Jr. selection. She started writing at MTV Networks, which led to an award-winning career in advertising and entertainment. As a child of Vietnamese refugees, she is dedicated to telling diverse stories that shed light on issues in the world while keeping a cheerful optimism about the future. She lives in Austin with her daughter, husband and several foster pugs.
