My name is Alana Dias and I am the Director of Education at Hillside early Childhood Center in Austin, TX. I grew up in New Jersey but have lived in Austin, Texas for almost 10 years. I received my bachelor’s in early childhood education from the University of Arizona and I have a deep passion for early childhood. I believe that the first 5 years of life are truly the most crucial, and it is an honor to be a positive influence in the life of young children. I completed a minor in Classical Art and have always been drawn to different ways to express thoughts and tell stories. As a mom and an educator, I believe in BookSpring’s mission, and I am committed to supporting early literacy.
