Wanna make a book with us?

BookSpring Originals is a new publishing initiative created to bring high-quality bilingual English–Spanish picture books to children and families everywhere. These books are designed for the children in BookSpring’s early literacy programs, and now they are also available for the general public to purchase through major online retailers.

When people purchase a BookSpring Originals title, BookSpring donates a second copy to a child in one of our Texas literacy programs. Purchases help us build home libraries, spark imagination, and support family reading in English and Spanish.

Donate Your Stories & Creativity

BookSpring Originals also includes a growing library of more than 400 open-access digital children’s stories created by our Creative Contributors. Writers, illustrators, designers, and editors are invited to contribute to:

• Bibi’s Weekly Themes (ages 3–8)

• Penny’s Rapid Reads (ages 9–12)

• Our English & Spanish Digital Libraries

Contributors release their work to BookSpring under a Creative Commons license, receive full credit, and help us offer free, high-quality reading materials to every family.
