BookSpring Originals is a growing collection of over 400 open-access digital children’s books, poems, and short stories designed to inspire a love of reading. By sharing your talents, you can help us bring these stories to life and into the hands of children everywhere.

Contribute to our special collections like Bibi’s Weekly Themes, where themed stories spark curiosity and learning week after week. Or share your work for Penny’s Rapid Reads, perfect for families seeking short, engaging reads on the go.

Our English Digital Library and Spanish Digital Library connects children with enriching literature in both languages, while the B3 Books App makes it easy to access these inspiring stories from any mobile device.

BookSpring Fling is a periodic collaborative event where select volunteers work together to create high-quality, freely accessible children’s books for families in need, engaging writers, illustrators, designers, and editors in a structured digital and print book creation process. To provide free and open access like Wikipedia, we rely on writers and artists to generously share their work under a Creative Commons license. While this is an unpaid opportunity, selected authors will receive full name credit, a short bio, and a link back to their website. Their work will be shared widely with our engaged readership.
