Edith Flores - Author

Edith Flores is a bilingual educator and author from Austin, Texas. She has spent more than twenty years helping children discover the joy of learning, creativity, and imagination through stories that celebrate culture and curiosity. When she’s not teaching and writing, she enjoys running and exploring new places with her family.

Artist info: This book was illustrated by BookSpring through a series of workshop sessions with the help of 9 volunteer artists. The color of each person’s name (on the Illustrator bio page) matches the color of their letter block/illustration in the book.

General note about the artists: BookSpring’s very own Finance Manager, Sarah Hill, created 9 out of the 26 illustrations! She used a variety of styles and mediums, including pencil, pen, and marker.
