Submitted by Jill González Director of Programs  This year, Austin Independent School District (AISD) will hold summer library programs at 22 campuses. 13 of these schools are active in BookSpring’s Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program. BookSpring recently held a Book-Give-Away for librarians at these campuses, giving out over 3,000 books for summer reading! Programs & Partners: Building Home Libraries and the Motivation to Read BookSpring offers a Continuum of Literacy Programs designed to reach children from birth through age 12 by building an active and supportive community of readers. We offer these programs:  Books Beginning a Birth, Books for Me, ReadWell, Family Book Clubs, BookSpring Days, and Open Book. We reach children and families where they live, work, and play through professionals and community members that they know and trust.
