Counting our blessings at Thanksgiving

“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart,

it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”

-A.A. Milne,  “Winnie-the-Pooh”

Thanksgiving is a perfect time to give thanks to all the wonderful people who support the mission of BookSpring.  Without you, we could not bring books and reading experiences to the children in our community!

I appreciate each and every one of you…

-donors who share your bounty with us

-volunteers who give your time to us

-board members who provide oversight to govern us

-champions who motivate us

-teachers and librarians who welcome us into your students’ lives

-doctors and nurses who include us in your well-child visits

-staff members who do so much with so little

-work study students who give us hope for the future

And anyone who I may have inadvertently left off the list!

So, like Piglet, my small heart is full of a large amount of gratitude for all you do for BookSpring each and every day.  When I stop to count my blessings this Thanksgiving Day, know that each of you will be in my thoughts.   I appreciate your contributions to BookSpring and thank you for all that you do for us.

May the good things of life be yours in abundance, not only at Thanksgiving but throughout the coming year!

 Fondly,

             Joan Wabschall
